This third achievement in consecutive years was with a Poll Merino ram earlier judged Riverina Ram of the Year last week, an accolade now held by the stud for five consecutive years.
Rabobank’s three-day fixture at Dubbo showground has attracted 300 show sheep judged on Tuesday and Wednesday and 65 rams to be sold on Thursday morning.
Another major feature was the annual Schools Merino Wether competition this year gaining teams of five wethers from 35 schools from across the state accompanied by 250 agriculture students who also participated in the young judges competition.
Tuesday’s March shorn highlights included National March shorn ram to Hinesville stud, Delegate, and junior ewe to Terrick West Poll stud, Prairie, Victoria.
