THE 129th Junee Show is on October 28, with a jam-packed program.
The pavilions will showcase local talent including decorative floral and cut flowers, needlework, knitting and crochet, millinery, farm produce, wool, photography, cooking, cake decorating, jams and preserves, art and craft, schoolwork, CWA competition and lots more.
There’s plenty of free entertainment, including Murphy’s puppet shows, a sandcastle competition, a mummy-wrap competition, a pet show and the animal nursery.
A feature at this year’s show will be Timba Tumba Carving, by Justin McClelland, who carves wood using a chainsaw.
Plenty of animals will be on display including dairy goats, poultry, pigeons and horses, with harness racing and mini trots in the afternoon, and the Junee Motor Club will have a range of wonderful old vehicles on display.
Entertainment for this year’s show includes the Junee Town Band as well as the singing duo Duble, and a spectacular fireworks display to round off the evening.
