The new year got off to a racing start at Gundagai today where hundreds of families and friends gathered for the annual New Year’s Day meeting.
Gundagai Racecourse was full of locals and visitors keen to start 2018 in fine form, on the track.
Those weary from last night’s shenanigans were granted a sleep-in with all the action starting with Race 1 at 1:45pm.
Five races throughout the day kept punters hoping to ring in 2018 with a win on the edges of their seats.
