Chris Knox and Helen Alexander from DSK Charolais stud, Coonabarabran, have taken home the supreme exhibit title of the Charolais breed show with their exhibit DSK TGL Max M69E.
The prize winning bull was awarded the junior and grand champion bull ribbons before going on to claim the supreme exhibit sash under judge Tom Baker from Woonallee Simmental stud, Millicent, South Australia, who described the bull as soft with good testicle development and balance.
He has softness, extension through the front end and structural integrity that allows him to move well, Mr Baker said.

She showed with an eight-month-old heifer calf at side, Moongool Fanmail 9, sired by Temana Golden Logie G66E.
Mr Baker said the female was outstanding with strength of spine, good udder quality and refinement through the front.

Reserve senior champion went to the 29-month-old female, Moongool Thyphena 9, by Moongool Freedom from Moongool Thyphena 7. Reserve junior champion went to Moongool Oregon 9, a 12-month-old female Silverstream Evolution daughter from the Moongool Oregon 6 female.

Mr Baker said the heifer had power, length, a strong top line and a lot of room from hip to pin. She moves freely and shows femininity and production efficiency.

Minnie was a standout calf bred at our Singleton Charolais stud operation.
Colinta Minnie is a polled, maternal sibling to Colinta Levi, the grand champion Charolais bull from Brisbane Royal and the $20,000 top-priced bull of the 2017 Allflex National Sale, Colinta Levi, purchased by the Advance Charolais and Brendale Charolais, Qld.
Over the past two years, in excess of $10,000 has been raised from the donation of heifers from Airlie and Minnie Vale Charolais studs of which 100pc has been invested back into the Charolais Youth program.
The heifer will be auctioned off during the Charolais National held at Dubbo on July 13.
