The Ausmectin Northern Beef Week’s focus shifted today into the Hunter Valley with five studs on display.
Parts of the Hunter Valley are enjoying better seasonal conditions than many other parts of the state. It is boggy in districts like Dungog.
Opening their gates to the public were the Richards family’s Leven Santa Gertrudis and Rouchelle Murray Grey studs, Muswellbrook, the Impey family’s Mala-Daki Simmentals, Black Simmentals and SimAngus, Bunnan, the Urban family’s Urban Angus stud, Wallarobba, and the Andrews family’s Top Shelf Angus stud at Whittingham near Singleton.
The event wraps up tomorrow with visits to studs on the North Coast.

The event is sponsored by Ausmectin.
