“It's horse breaking, horsemanship, from go to whao, from language patterns to commands that can be used for life,” owner Patrick Harris said.
“Our course is called the perfect ride, because with the first one to three rides of a young horse, they'll usually buck and they're stressed, but with this method, they walk off by the time our riders get on.
“We're taking young, unbroken horses to Mudgee. They might know how to tie and lead but that's about it.”
Mr Harris has decades of experience, having started riding as a toddler.
“As a three-year-old I saw my uncle break in a horse, and knew I wanted to do it, but thought their could be a better way,” he said.
“When I was at boarding school, I was dreaming about breaking in horses
“I've done a few different things since then. I was a paramedic, then a bouncer for a little while, but I always went back to horses.”
Mr Harris hopes to build the business to hold regular clinics, and take training courses to rural and remote Australia.
