A 47-year-old man will face stock theft charges in Nowra next month after police linked him to $30,000 worth of cattle stolen from the Kangaroo Valley.
Police said two steers were seized from Moss Vale in January 2018 and nine Angus Heifers were seized from a property in the Upper Kangaroo River in May.
Following inquiries, a 47-year-old man was arrested and will appear in Nowra Local Court on August 20
He faces two counts of cattle theft and a maximum 14 years in jail.
Police said the investigate highlighted the benefit of the newly formed Rural Crime Prevention Team, with Rural Crime Investigators coming together from a number of Police Districts to assist Rural Crime Investigators from Monaro Police District.
