FORTY one studs representing 12 breeds are preparing to open their gates to visitors for Ausmectin Southern Beef Week, from July 30 to August 5.

Among those studs is JAD Speckle Park, Yeoval, which is participating for the first time.

Justin and Amy Dickens will have their 75 2017-drop purebred ET-bred calves – all from elite imported Canadian embryos – on display.

The Dickens family, JAD Agriculture, has become well known and regarded in Speckle Park circles since its commercial involvement in the breed started back in 2012.
