Precision farming is a must as gone are the days of just sowing the seed and hoping for the best.
Farmers have the skills and technology to run extremely efficiently, able to achieve more than one sow per year.
Smallaire strive to be the innovators in air movement technology.
“One of our components we have designed and developed is air diffusers,” a spokesman said. “These diffusers suit all types of air seeders to achieve the best possible yield results.
“Our Pressure Relief Vent is designed to relieve air speed and air pressure before the seed boot to prevent seed damage and bounce caused from excessive pressure and velocity.
“Seed bounce at the boot can be a costly fault on an air seeder with grain being wasted and resulting in low percentage of yield.
“For example, the grain hitting the ground with excessive force bounces it out of the furrow leaving the grain either on top of the ground for birds and vermin to eat or the grain being placed at the incorrect depth to germinate properly.
“The Pressure Relief Vents are available in several different options.
“There are double inlet pipes which allows the option of different sowing widths without major changes to the seeder.
“Other options are multiple pipe sizes in and out to suit your seeder boots and hoses.”
