The 67th annual Australian National Field Days (ANFD) is shaping up to be one of the best to date.
The ANFD has emerged as an iconic event for the region for all the right reasons.
Not only has the event continued to be a pivotal meeting place for the agriculture industry and suppliers, the ANFD has also become known as a not-to-be-missed day out for both town and country people.
Events like the field days provide a sense of community and support for our rural families which is especially important after the extended dry season we have experienced.
It’s a great social day out – an opportunity to reconnect with people, share ideas and strategies or just have some much needed time off.
The field days also provide a great opportunity to bridge the ever-widening gap between country and city.
The ANFD provides those not involved with hands-on production an idea of the complexities and innovations required in the production of food and fibre in Australia.
The agriculture industry is at the cutting edge of technology.
Production systems are changing at an amazingly rapid rate.
The ANFD provides the ideal opportunity to showcase this development not only to those in the industry, but to everyone.
An event like ANFD brings a great deal to the region with exhibitors and visitors providing a much-needed boost to the economy.
This year we welcome the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) as the feature exhibit, highlighting the benefits of the department in increasing the productivity and resilience of the agricultural sector.
The DPI will be on hand providing demonstrations, talks and displays in relation to livestock, plants and natural resource management.
Working as a not for profit co-operative, ANFD committee and staff strive to provide our exhibitors and visitors with a field day experience second to none.
The ANFD business structure enables us to reinvest in our biggest assets, our wonderful site and our field day resources.
