AGRICULTURAL and lifestyle products from more than 150 businesses will be showcased at the ProAg Field Days at Macksville on November 2 and 3.
Fairfax Rural Events (FRE) took over management of the event last year, and the organisers are expecting more than 10,000 visitors this year.
FRE group manager Kate Nugent said ProAg had become an institution on the Mid North Coast over the past decade.
“Last year saw the return of big crowds, strong exhibitor numbers and resounding sales results,” Ms Nugent said.
“Fairfax Rural Events has injected a wealth of experience and event expertise into this event, and through its already wide and well established relationships, the inquiry into ProAg 2018 is overwhelmingly positive and gaining momentum.”
Ms Nugent said the response from exhibitors and visitors was supportive and encouraging with an exciting cross section of agricultural and lifestyle products and services keen to return this year.
Ms Nugent said this was the once-a-year opportunity for the rural industry to stay up to date with the latest products and services.

“Indeed, in difficult times, most farming enterprises work harder to make their operations more efficient and productive,” Ms Nugent said.
“By maintaining equipment and machinery in peak working order, including upgrading and replacing as possible, and by keeping on top of modern developments in services and technology, Australian farmers in particular maintain their reputation among the world’s best in agribusiness.”
ProAg allows customers to compare products from a range of businesses, and provides and opportunity for businesses to develop long lasting relationships with their customers.
The site at the Macksville Showground features a demonstration area, which will include livestock handling, precision farming, UTVs and quad bikes, a drone zone, horse handling, a helipad and Mid North Coast Machinery Restoration working displays.
There will also be a led steer competition for schools in a dedicated livestock area.
