Noting the value of introducing farmers to the latest advances in rural funding, Riverina Ag Network are hosting an event on Friday, 26 October at the Sportsman’s Hotel, Kincaid Street, Wagga Wagga at 12 noon.
Sources of alternative capital, commodity streaming and innovative farm expansion are just some of the topics to be addressed.
Connie Mort is the president of Riverina Ag Network and she is hopeful many involved in agriculture, be they farmers, consultants or business advisers, will be able to attend.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone involved with farming to hear how alternative funding can provide another avenue of capital to ensure Australian farmers can continue to be profitable and productive in a changing landscape,” Ms Mort said.
“John Howard, CommStream Capital CEO will be making a presentation on using funds for productivity improvements like farm leasing, irrigation or storage.”
CommStream Capital is an agricultural commodity streaming company providing farmers with upfront funds to invest in their farming business, in exchange for a share of what they produce over an agreed term.
