Athletic Propulsion Labs® (APL) has launched their TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool collection - the first- ever technical knit shoe to be certified by The Woolmark Company.
The TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool collection was developed with The Woolmark Company and is APL’s most sustainable and lightest running shoe to date. Each shoe features 80% Australian Merino wool, innovatively knitted with APL’s patented, stretch rebound TechLoom upper.
This unique combination delivers greater elasticity, strengthens the shoe and allows it to naturally hug the foot for maximum support, especially during performance and sports lifestyle activities.
The certified Wool Rich Blend engineered knit is designed to keep its form and shape, using filament wrapped wool yarns to strengthen and add resistance to prevent abrasion and extend wear.
The new material features technically advanced stain and odour resistant yarns which also naturally regulate the temperature of the wearer’s foot. In addition, the shoe employs a seamless rebound TechLoom Upper that moves with your feet, making the APL TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool sneaker a soft, lightweight and breathable shoe to wear year-round.
APL Co-Founder Adam Goldston explained that by teaming up with The Woolmark Company APL were able to engineer and create their most sustainable shoe to date.

The Woolmark Company operates a global fibre quality assurance scheme that guarantees fibre content and an assurance of quality.
All products licensed to carry the iconic logo must be tested by independent authorised laboratories against a set of stringent specifications and test methods including durability, colour fastness and fibre quality.
The APL TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool running shoe collection is the first launch in a series of long-term certified wool product collaborations between APL and The Woolmark Company.
