Boarding has been an integral part of Calrossy from the very start, celebrating strong links with rural NSW.
Approximately 30 per cent of students in the secondary school are boarders, enjoying the benefits of a large regional centre location, close links to the land and easy access to home.
In the past 20 years, Calrossy has grown impressively, catering to the needs of pre-school and primary students and benefiting from the addition of boys, retaining an intimate culture.
Calrossy adopts a diamond model, in which primary school boys and girls learn together, take separate classes in the early and mid-secondary years with classes becoming fully co-educational in Years 11 and 12.
Pastoral care and well-being programs are coordinated to suit the important social/emotional needs of emerging young men and women through the adolescent years.
