A FEMALE Angus, Hollywood Lady in Waiting L6, leading a strong healthy calf, took all before her at the Dubbo Show on Saturday.
Handlers for breeder Kaytee Angus, Kate Swain, 17, and Angus Kelly, 15, were ecstatic as the results were announced.
Judge Scott Myers, The Rock, said the field at Dubbo was Sydney Royal standard, and was rapt with the cow as he judged her senior champion female and then senior breed champion.
Mr Myers said he loved the length and depth of Lady in Waiting.
Angus was this year's feature breed at the Dubbo Show, and made a clean sweep of interbreed gongs.
Hollywood Angus was named best exhibitor, and won a swag of prizes, including two bulls under 24 months with Hollywood Longmire P15 at 10-and-a-half months old and Hollywood Longmire N12 at 21 months.
Stud principal Lyn Frecklington said both bulls had topped their classes on weight and scan at the Sydney Royal Show.
Hollywood Angus also took out the Breeder's group award with a solid run of cattle.
In other breeds Marrington Shorthorns won the breed's grand champion bull with Marrington Nominee N50 and then went on to win breeder's group.
Macquarie Anglican Grammar School, in its first big show, performed very well, one of its wins being Shorthorn champion junior bull.
