The business has developed a simple to use toolset for producers feeding in the 500 to 5000 head range.
BMS (Bunk Management System) software is used to record feeding and bunk management processes. Users can enter bunk scores and record feed calls and they have instant access to pen feed histories and lot-based movements.
The automatic ration calculation saves time and users can use BMS to analyse pens, lots, commodity usage, ration usage and consumption. BMS is often used in conjunction with the cloud based mobile application StockMate.
StockMate is gaining traction right across the beef industry and can be found in all stages of the production cycle; from breeding and growing through to backgrounding and lotfeeding.
A tablet can be used in the feedlots to record all movements, individual and mob-based animal data and weight and treatment histories.
StockMate integrates with all common weighing and EID scanning systems.
Mr Ferguson said it's capacity to calculate performance data and histories for every animal meant producers can quickly identify non-performers in the yard and take remedial action far sooner.
"StockMate now also incorporates a financial module which allows producers to generate a 'whole of life' gross profit report for individual animals or groups of livestock," he said.
