Opening their studs today were Blink Bonnie, Capree, Fosterfield, Glen Esk, Kildara, Montray, Pomanara, Ravecchia, Allendale, Darriwell, Egelabra, Gullen Gamble, Hadden Rig, Lachlan, Langdene, Roseville Park, Towanga, Weealla, Westray, Wyona, Mt Bathurst, Suttor Merinos, Three Hills and Padua.
Many studs in the Central Tablelands chose to display their sheep at the Bathurst Showgrounds. The light rain may have kept away some visitors, although there was a steady flow of people viewing the stock throughout the day.
Tomorrow the event heads into the Yass, Harden, Young and Wagga Wagga districts.
