MAINTAINING resilience in a farming business can be difficult - especially during tough times.
But the NSW Department of Primary Industries' Rural Resilience Program is heading to Mudgee Small Farm Field Days to help.
The Rural Resilience Program delivers activities designed to build capacity and to support farmers and regional communities through difficult times.
The team has staff based across the state, helping to build networks, link people with information and deliver initiatives to help build personal and business resilience skills.
David Bone is the Rural Resilience Program Co-ordinator and said his team will be on hand at the field days to talk and provide advice on accessing programs which can make a difference to each farming business.
"Our team is looking forward to heading out to the field days and listening to the issues and needs of our farmers," he said.
"Even if you just want a general chat, come over and say hello. And if you have a specific question about your business or your personal resilience skills we'll also be happy to help you find the right answer."
Mr Bone said the team is committed to the needs of farmers and regional communities.
"With a team across the state, we have the local knowledge to connect people with the right support services, the right assistance," he said.
"The Rural Resilience team has a great reputation for delivering information to clients across NSW and that is what the Rural Resilience team is all about."
