THE Ouyen Livestock Exchange has again broken its saleyard record, with lambs selling to $320 a head on Thursday last week.

The previous record of $305 was set two weeks ago.
The top 66 crossbreds were sold by N&F Hamilton, Ouyen.
Overall export crossbred lambs made from $218-$320 or $8-$8.60/kg, trade types made $140-$235 or $8.40-$9.30/kg, while store/lighter lambs made $56-$150.
MG Lynch, Morkalla, was next closest, selling 75 crossbred lambs at $290 and another 60 at $266, while IR Arney, Werrimull, sold 81 lambs at $270.
Also making $266 for their crossbred lambs were J&A Frankle, Patchewollock, with 48 and J Hahnel Nominees, Timberoo, with 57.
J Hahnel Nominees also sold 55 Merino lambs at $230, but the sale top went to Mallee View Props, Galga, with 252 Merino lambs at $234.
Heavy Merinos made from $180-$227 or $8-$8.50/kg, while lighter types sold from $62-$158 or $8.50-$8.80/kg.
N&R Monaghan, Tempy, sold 49 Merino lambs at $228, while M&R Fitzgerald, Mildura, sold 46 at $227.
Heavy mutton sold to $211 for 50 from LR&P Gregurke, Lameroo, with the range $160-$211 or $5.60-$5.90/kg, while light mutton made from $45-$140 or $580-$6.20/kg.
