With safety requirements restricting the number of vehicles allowed to operate in pedestrian corridors on the site, the organisers are always searching for ways to make the experience at AgQuip field day a more pleasant one.
AgQuip is providing several 12-seater vehicles to operate as the AgQuip Shuttle Bus - out in the car parks and on the static display grid.
This shuttle bus will provide a free service around the site stopping at major road junctions, the AIM Centre on K-L/25, rural support groups and charity organisations raising drought awareness and funding and demonstration areas but also as a "hail and ride" service. If you see it ... stop it and jump on.
This service will be limited to older visitors and those with a genuine need and children will only be able to ride if accompanied by an adult.
The shuttles will stop where you see a Bus Stop sign near food canteens, Headquarters, Visitor Information Centre, Soil Conservation Service demo area and Samsung Lifestyle Shopping Arcade and other hot spots across the field.
If waiting for the shuttle doesn't suit and you'd like to be a little more independent but are finding it difficult to get around, there is also a limited number of hire golf carts and mobility scooters available for this year's event.
DTM Golf Carts will again provide a golf cart service to the visitors of AgQuip to help cover the nearly 20 kilometres of roadways - located at stand AA-BB/20 at the western end of the centre aisle of the field.
For scooter hire requirements see Riverina Scooters & Mobility who are located in the western car park at Gate 11.
The number of available carts and scooters is strictly limited with preference given to adult pensioners and people with disabilities and genuine need. The carts will not be available to drivers under 18 years of age.
- For on-site hire cart information and bookings call DTM on 02 6762 2606 or for mobility scooters contact Riverina Scooters & Mobility on 0428 694 335.
