Visitors will be able to download and use an iPhone or android AgQuip app, packed with handy onsite features including a complete, searchable and up-to-date exhibitor list with their site locations.
This year organisers have captured more companies on site - with exhibitors providing their brand name product suppliers.
The app can search specific exhibitors' products - with built-in site maps and on-site tools to help you work your way around the field day static display area.
AgQuip 2019 is the biggest agri-event in Australia that anyone on the land can simply not afford to miss - with more than 3000 individual companies and organisations exhibiting and 100,000-plus potential customers expected through the gates over the three days.
From abrasives to air seeders, ATVs to augers, bins to boom sprays, bull bars to brushcutters, cattle to cultivators, engines to electric fences, front-end loaders to fuel supplies, grain dryers to grader blades, harvesters to hoses, laser levelers to livestock and tractors to tanks, AgQuip is a smorgasbord for those in rural industries.
There is amazing support from the primary industry at this year's AgQuip field days to support and drive optimism in the agricultural sector which has continued to be confronted with a number of challenges and has encouraged the organisers to ensure the field day delivers a smartphone app to assist visitors in discovering what's new, what's different and what's state-of-the-art at the event.
AgQuip has always been at the forefront of displaying the latest in equipment, innovations and, of course, technology, and having its own field day app is essential.
"Agri-innovation is at the forefront of our industry with farmers responding to environmental changes in new and interesting ways," said Kate Nugent, events group manager of Australian Community Media, organisers of the big field days.
"Our Events technology team, led by Aaron Harley, is giving farmers the knowledge and equipment to adapt."
"It is vitally important for AgQuip, as the most commercially successful and influential agricultural events in the nation, to maintain its strong support for our nation's farmers and primary industry operators and demonstrate first-hand innovation," Kate said.
You'll discover lots about AgQuip field days and the 2019 exhibitors and their products on the AgQuip app.
