Studs on display were Hardhat Angus at Harden, Kennys Creek Angus at Boorowa, Onslow Angus at Cootamundra, Wombat Hills Simmental at Wombat and TLC Black Simmental at Young.
With spring bull sale season on the horizon, drafts of sale bulls were the feature of most studs during day two, with some females also on offer.
Upcoming sales:
- Onslow Angus - August 27
- Kennys Creek Angus - September 4
- Hardhat Angus - September 19
Celebrating their first time in Southern Beef Week since moving to Young, Ian Carey from TLC Black Simmentals offered a lucky gate prize to a person that was looking at buying a bull on the day.
A repeat buyer, Harold Bradley from Bungendore, was drawn out the hat, being the lucky winner of his choice of bull - a SimAngus upcoming yearling bull that Mr Carey said was "his top bull of the day".
A steady stream was noted at all locations.
