Dance Angus stud held its annual on property sale at Shannon Vale on Friday, with the extreme conditions selling 22 bulls out of 37 bulls on offer for a 59 per cent clearance, averaging $3977 with a top of $5500.
Dance stud principal David Dance thanked repeat and new buyers for their business in these extremely hard conditions. He was pleased with the results and was confident the bulls would do the job.
The $5500 top-priced bull was 22-month-old Dance Kingdom N130, a son of Millah Murrah Kingdom K35 and out of Dance Berkley B1 J219, weighing 864 kilograms, with a scrotal circumference of 34 centimeters he was purchased through Auctions Plus and will head to Scone NSW.
