For years now, growers on smaller land have been frustrated using big, heavy machinery not suited to their holding.
Italian manufacturer Antonio Carraro has been selling tractors in Australia for 40 years and have a range for smaller areas.
"With a wide wheelbase, a very low centre of gravity, reversible drive and hydrostatic transmission, the Antonio Carraro TTR 7600 Infinity is ideal for crops on slopes and especially for haymaking," a company spokesman said.
Boasting a four-cylinder turbo engine with 74hp, the TTR 7600 is also suitable for cutting grass on slopes.
"The Infinity transmission allows you to work with the same speeds in both driving directions.
"The gearbox has three speeds which can also be engaged while driving, to ensure constant and fluid movement without loss of traction or power interruption when the gradient or speed of travel changes.
"Braking is assisted on slopes with the advance pedal stopping the vehicle when the accelerator is released, even without using brakes.
"The Extra Comfort panoramic cab offers excellent comfort, with all the controls in an ergonomic position, and there is plenty of space for the operator."
Antonio Carraro also offer the TRX 7800S which they believe is a super-specialised tractor for all needs.
A reversible isodiametric tractor the TRX 7800 S is designed for multiple applications, with a complete electronic control system.
"The TRX 7800 S has a four-cylinder Yanmar engine with 70hp and adapts to all types of agricultural activities and land," the spokesman said.
"The new Yanmar engine is assembled on the whole 7800 series and is the product of the collaboration between the Antonio Carraro R&D Centre staff and Yanmar engineering.
"The TRX 7800 S is fitted with particulate filters, a common rail injection system, and a cooling valve for exhaust fume recirculation.
"The TRX 7800 S ensures high performance in small spaces and when there are changes in lateral and vertical gradient, in orchards and canopy vineyards or between low rows on steep slopes.
"It offers extraordinary manoeuvrability, determined by a very small turning radius and stable trim in all conditions.
