Hundreds of punters braced the wind for a day out at the 2019 Jerilderie Gold Cup.
The six-race program accumulated in Jerilderie's own, Phillip Sweeney winning the Gold Cup with Beaujeen, ridden by Bradley Vale.
Beaujeen was followed by Deal Master in second and Shop Lifter in third.
In was the first home town win for the Sweeneys since 2014 when they won the cup with Final Jest.
"It was great for everyone involved and great for the town," Mr Sweeney said of the win.
"She's an honest mare and had a good run in the race."
Beaujeen was one three runners Mr Sweeney had in the big race.
