MORONGLA Show will open its gates for the 100th time on Monday morning.
In the show's centenary year, the committee is excited to bring back some of the traditional events from days gone by.
A sheaf-tossing competition - men's, women's and children's categories - will be contested, paying homage to the early years of manual cereal crop harvest, where bound sheaves were stood in stooks and then tossed onto carts.
The competition is all about how high you can toss your sheaf.
In the pavilion, the saucer decorating competition will be brought back to life, where saucers are decorated with fresh flowers and other flora to create a detailed arrangement. There is a full list of events in the schedule, available on the show's facebook page. The show, a short drive south of Cowra on the Lachlan Valley Way, kicks off at 8am Monday.
About 1pm Cowra local, 2019 Regional Woman of the Year, Dr Louise Baker, will open the show, notching up a century of rural good times, celebrating agriculture.
