Students from the Orange school produce major works resembling what would be created in an established fabrication business.
What makes these major works even more remarkable, is the fact that they are completed by 17 and 18 year old students in their final year of high school.
This year at Kinross Wolaroi School, 13 students studied Industrial Technology for their HSC in 2019.
Their custom works included a camper trailer, mobile cattle ramp, utility trays, farm equipment, servery bar, various trailers, dog kennels and a bespoke wood lathe.
"I enjoy seeing how the students progress and develop their skills and produce these amazing projects," head of Technological and Applied Studies, Simon Lun said.
Angus Smith a boarding student from Dubbo equipped an entire ute for a local builder as the focus of his major project in 2019.
It included a five post bullbar, side rails and a custom ute tray with built in tool boxes and dog crate.
"I really enjoyed the hands on practical side of the subject," Angus said.
"It allowed me to perfect the skills that I learnt from a young age at home."
Angus has already been approached by numerous family members and friends to help with projects in the future.
Mr Lun hopes that a number of Kinross Wolaroi students will again receive nominations for the 2019 InTech showcase.
The InTech showcase is an exhibition of outstanding major projects from HSC Industrial Technology students, which includes student folios that document the design, management, communication and production of their projects.
In 2018, 16 Kinross Wolaroi students completed Industrial Technology for their HSC and 13 major projects were nominated for inclusion within InTech.
"I am extremely proud of the students and the work they have produced," Mr Lun said.
"Every year it is great to see the class try and set the bar higher."
