As it opens enrolments for 2020, there is a renewed sense of energy at Scots.
With new learning environments, new engaging programs, and a new fee schedule to make its high standard of education more affordable, the school is excited about its future.
Boarding has always been an integral part of life at Scots, diversifying the community by bringing boarders from the wider region and abroad.
"The fact our numbers are relatively small compared to other schools is also a big advantage of boarding at Scots," director of boarding, Neale Poole said.
"Our experienced staff know every student well and deliver a very high standard level of individualised care."

Fees have been reviewed and reduced from the beginning of next year.

Scots has also introduced a new Rural Futures Scholarship which will provide full annual tuition and boarding fees for three years to a Year 10 student entering Scots in Term 1, 2020.
While Scots is justifiably proud to be the top-ranked school in the region when it comes to academic results, the school is equally proud of its extensive co-curricular activities - from the playing field to the music stage and beyond.
Scots is constantly investing in staff, programs and facilities, including boarding houses and a new Senior Learning Centre, to ensure students thrive in a world-class and nurturing environment.
For more than 150 years, Scots has been a place full of opportunity, and that is a tradition which will never change.
It has been a place where students can find their passion in a strong, supportive environment.
