This weekend, October 18-20, sees a pilgrimage to PLC Armidale where it all began for many of the 132 year-old college's alumni, for the annual Old Girls Reunion.

Many of the college's graduates have leveraged the strong educational foundation and diverse range of opportunities they experienced at PLC Armidale to forge amazing careers and achievements.
Many of these accomplished women were the beneficiaries of the various scholarships and bursaries offered to girls of promise and potential from regional NSW, who demonstrated a commitment to their education and future.
President of the National Farmers Federation, Fiona Simson, was a recipient of a scholarship at PLC Armidale.
So too was CEO of Fletcher International Exports, Melissa Fletcher, and Dr Nicole Sides, director of Compass Fertility and former ACT Business Woman of the Year, along with many more.
"I was lucky enough to enter PLC Armidale on an academic scholarship in Year 7," Mrs Simpson said.
"I had no idea just how much the skills I learned during my secondary schooling would influence my current career."
PLC Armidale has numerous scholarships available to girls on merit from academic, music, creative arts, future leader, along with all rounder and boarding.
There are bursaries for families which are means tested.
