The sale realised top price of $7500 with overall sale average price of $2481 for 211 sold.
The top price was paid by return clients David and Erica Shorter, Boola, Burren Junction.
They have been purchasing Hazeldean genetics since 1989 and returned this year to add another top sire to their flock.
Mr Shorter said they admired the ram for his outstanding size, wool cut and quality of fleece.
"He has excellent staple length, and he was the biggest ram in the shed which showed his growth for age," he said.
"We want to keep the high quality of the Hazeldean wool in our flock while maintaining staple length and body weight.
"I just couldn't go past him!"
Speaking after the sale, Bea Litchfield said her family were very pleased with the support shown by repeat clients along with a couple of new ones, and especially through a tough season.
"The rams were very well presented and which complimented their figures," she said.
"A good set of reliable data indicates strong genetic strength for productivity."
The sale was settled by Elders, Goulburn with Paul Dooley, Tamworth holding sway in the rostrum.
