Not only is it a great time with endless music and entertainment, it's family-friendly, fully affordable and has something for everyone to enjoy.
Centrally located and dubbed as one of Australia's most authentic music experiences, the Toyota Country Music Festival annually transforms Tamworth into a summer hot spot for travellers, families, music enthusiasts and the Australian country music industry.
This year, visitors will flock to town from Friday to Sunday, January 17-26, with artists such as Adam Harvey, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, The McClymonts, John Williamson and Lee Kernaghan leading the charge, and hundreds of other free and ticketed shows on offer.
But it's not just the star-studded line-up that makes TCMF a great time. It's the family-friendly and affordable nature of the Toyota Country Music Festival that makes it easy for everyone to enjoy the buzz of the vibrant and diverse buskers on Peel Street, street performers, food traders and surprise guest appearances.
It's also the huge outdoor concerts with an extraordinary line-up of artists and free performances held for 10 nights straight in Toyota Park.
With entertainment for the kids on offer too, what a great way to end the day.
