Weed threat averted, lookout for parthenium

NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI) State Priority Weeds coordinator, Philip Blackmore, said the vigilance of local council biosecurity officers has detected outbreaks of parthenium weed, Parthenium hysterophorus, near Forbes and Walgett.
