With 26 bulls offered there was a total clearance with a top price of $10,000 and an average of $5023.
Five cow and calf units topped at $5000 and averaged a strong $4550. There were also four heifers sold to top at $3750 and averaged $2438.
The top price bull was a homozygous poll red factor son of Kenmere Lanz, Elstow Quickstart, a young standout bull who was purchased by Mike Lawler, Kilkenny Charolais, Taroom, Queensland.
He also took home Lot 15 Elstow Polly another Homozygous poll bull by Kenmere Lanz.
Two bulls sold for the second top price at $7000. Stephen Bowling of Caraki purchased Elstow Pharlap, a polled son of Elstow Dinky Di who at 23 months weighted 1240 kilograms and had a fat scan of 7/7 and an eye muscle area of 140 centimeters squared.
The Bowling and Charters Family purchased four bulls and have been long time repeat buyers.
The second bull to make $7000 was Elstow Performance, a 24 month old bull weighing 1145 kilograms with a fat scan of 10/8, who was sold to Longhill Pastoral Company, Coolah.
Volume bull buyers were the Tuckwell family of Charleville, Queensland, who took home five bulls.
Top price Female at $5000 was Elstow Freisa l14 with a big sappy bull calf at foot went to Ken and Paula Purvis from Gilgandra.
Natasha Schultz from Queensland bidding on Auctions Plus took home 4 females.
The cattle were sold to three states New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria.
The sale was conducted by Nutrien Narrabri using the Helmsman system interfaced with Auctions Plus.
