PHOTOS: Fashions, faces trackside at the Coonamble Gold Cup


The Coonamble Gold Cup and the Baradine Cup have been won by charges trained by former Coonamble boy Danny Williams.


Former Coonamble boy Danny Williams who is now a successful trainer at Goulburn returned home to win the two feature races.

The $75,000 Geronimo, New Holland Agriculture 2020 Coonamble Gold Cup with Petaluma ridden by Muswellbrook jockey Daniel Northey and the $40,000 Loch Lomond Border Leicester Stud 2020 Baradine Cup with My Blue Jeans ridden by Aaron Bullock who is based in Singleton.

As with most race meetings post Covid-19, the fashions in the field were scaled back to ensure restrictions were met.

The judges selected, Rachael Swansborough from Coonamble as the best dressed lady and Matt Harland from Cobar was this year's best dressed gent.

The popular Best Dressed Couple went to Tyler Cleary and Brittany Boniface from Dubbo.
