A plainer yarding of 6194 first-cross ewes at Yass realised solid prices for the better presented pens.
Values for the one and half year ewes ranged from $325 to $452 while the ewe lambs sold from $160 to $428.
The single pen of ewes and lambs sold for $298.
Top price for one and half year ewes at $452 was achieved for the 207 October/November 2019 drop, October-shorn ewes sired by Sunbury Border Leicester rams and sold by Shane and Gwenda Romer, Crookwell.
The best presented pen offered by G.W and J.E Maberly, Grabben Gullen sold for $442 for the 72 December-shorn ewes.
In the pens of ewe lambs, the Kember family, Ganmain received $428 for their offering of 210 March/April 2020 drop, October-shorn and sired by Gleneith Super Borders.
Brent Medway, Tolldale, Gunning sold 65 April/May 2020 drop, October-shorn ewes, sired by Gleneith and Retallack BL rams for $369.
Local restockers were to the fore with some interest from the eastern Riverina.
