Described by the club as a "perfect day for racing at Gunnedah", the meeting had six races with it all kicking off just before 2pm.
Locals that turned up for the earlier races got to see Gunnedah trainer Sally Torrens snag a win with Swiftly Mango in the Boggabri Meats Class 1 Handicap (1300m).
Rachael Murray steered Swiftly Mango to victory and was also on board the winner of the big one - the Commercial Hotel Boggabri Cup.
That was won by the Jacob Perrett-trained Mock Song who beat out Vertical and Jewel Of The Clan.
The win also closed out a big day for Murray.
The jockey had five rides and didn't finish outside the top three. Along with her two wins, Murray claimed a second and two thirds.
