Sunshine enhanced the 2021 Wellington show as animals and pavilion exhibits, not to mention the Showgirl competition, attracted a big crowd it the town's big ag day.
The 2021 Wellington Showgirl, Amelia Bryant, was announced and sashed by special guest, Lyndon Wieland, Orana District Manager, NSW Rural Fire Service, who officially opened the show on behalf of all the emergency services of Wellington and districts on the 145th show.
More than 60 beef cattle representing six breeds contested in individual breed judging before a superb interbreed display, enhanced by meat sheep and a large exhibition of dairy goats.
Not to be outdone, horse events, both led and rider sections attracted hundreds from near and far.
