On the track, the highlight of the day was when Maddison Wright rode her fourth winner, with only five races on the program it was almost the perfect day for the Dubbo based jockey.
It was Narromine jockey Ricky Blewitt and Dubbo trainer Dar Lunn who prevent Maddison "riding the card" when they took out the feature race, the 1400m Marthaguy Cup with eight year old veteran Zoutenant.
Off the track, Alexandra Hamblin from Quambone was named this year's Miss Marthaguy while Lyn Waterford from Coonamble was the best dressed lady and Michelle Meyers from Mudgee took home the prizes for the best millinery.
