Pregnancy-tested-in-calf (PITC) cows made up more than one third of the market with 45 on offer.
The category was topped by a pen of PTIC heifers offered by PG Edwards, Gresford, which made $1700 a unit.

There were similar numbers in the cow with calf category as 42 head went up for bids with a small run of Murray Grey/Limousin cows with calves selling for a sale-high $3000 a unit.
Roger Fuller Pty Ltd stock agent Roger Fuller, Singleton, said the remaining 19 steers and 15 heifers at the sale were "odds and sods".
"Everything was in twos or threes, there wasn't a big pen of steers or heifers there," Mr Fuller said
"A pen of nice little Angus steers weighing 200kg made $1350, while a pen of four or five Angus heifers made $1100.
"Other than those sales, everything else was single sales."
Despite having a small yarding than last month's sale, Mr Fuller said prices remained firm.
"Prices were pretty on par with what decent cattle are bringing at the moment," he said.
"Our yarding this month was considerably smaller than last month and I think a lot of that has to do with the wintery conditions at the moment."
Next month's sale will be held on August 14 at the Hunter Regional Livestock Exchange (HRLX).
