The catalogue comprised of females, embryos, semen and one bull from the stalls of Neilson, Sue and Nicholas Job of Royalla Shorthorns, Yeoval, Lester and Sonya Job's Moombi Shorthorn stud, Cumnock, and Lincoln and Lisa Job of Marellan Shorthorns, Emerald, Qld.

Lincoln Job of Marellan Shorthorns, Emerald, Qld, said the Shorthorn breed is one with the potential to do more in the industry than any other, a statement which was echoed by his brother Nicholas Job of Royalla stud, Yeoval who commented "Shorthorns make us more money than any other breed, and that is why we are still involved 50 years later."
The Job family achieved a full clearance of the catalogue with lots sold to all states. Overall, 46 cow/calf units sold to the sale top price of $32,500 and an average of $11,422; four donor females sold to a $29,000 top and averaged $14,250, and 28 Shorthorn heifers reached a $20,000 high and averaged $7519.
Across Australia buyers were active via Elite Livestock Auctions with 67 registered bidders and 169 viewers logged into the sale. In total 319 bids were placed online across 78 lots, or 82 per cent, of the offering, and 31 individual lots sold to remote buyers.
The sale was settled by Elders Dubbo with Kevin Miller Whitty Lennon and Co, Forbes. Auctioneers were Lincoln McKinlay, Elders, Inverell, and Luke Whitty, KMWL, Forbes.
