Agsafe's ChemClear program is holding a collection in NSW in March 2022.
Agvet chemical users can now register their unwanted or obsolete agvet chemicals for collection by visiting the ChemClear website with registrations closing January 28.
All successful registrations are acknowledged by email or post.
A reference number relating to each of your Group 1 and 2 chemical registrations will be provided.
Once your chemicals are registered with ChemClear, continue to store the chemicals safely and securely.
Agsafe's general manager, Dominique Doyle, noted farmers' committed engagement in the ChemClear program always impresses, but never surprises.
"Farmers understand that they are the custodians of the land, and are always mindful of sustainable farm practices," he said.
"ChemClear enables farmers to safely dispose of chemicals off farms and out of rural communities."
ChemClear and its partners are delighted with the progress the service has made since 2003 in which the program has collected and disposed of more than 790,000 litres of obsolete, inherited and unknown agvet chemicals.
