Tennysonvale Ujoanie, exhibited by the Baldry family, Tennysonvale Simmental Fleckviehs, Illabo, claimed the supreme ribbon under the eye of judge Steve Crowley, Tycolah Poll Herefords, Barraba, and associate judge Nathan Hindmarsh, Braidwood.
The 12 month-old heifer, sired by Callendale Jasper and out of Tennysonvale Jester, was described by Mr Crowley to move along cleanly and had nice udder development.
"Just a very nice heifer."
Exhibitor Carl Baldry said he had entered the heifer on behalf of his 91 year-old pop from Sydney who had been showing cattle for 35 years.
Mr Baldry said he liked her structural soundness.
He said this was the heifers first show and she will now not be entered again until a cow.
Taking out the grand champion female over the senior champion female Wondenia Ritz, exhibited by Wondenia-Denmire Fleckvieh Stud, Gilgandra, Mr Crowley said it was Ujoanie's balance and overall structure that put her on top.
