FARMERS on the hunt for a compact all-rounder may want to drop into next week’s Commonwealth Bank AgQuip to witness the launch of the Case IH Farmall JXM.
Available in 56 kilowatt (75 horsepower) and 67kW (90hp) models, the Farmall JXM joins the popular Farmall B, JX, C and U on the Australian market.
Case IH, mid-horsepower and compact tractor product manager, Seamus McCarthy said the tractor was being introduced to Australia to meet the needs of the small farmer and leisure market.
“The Farmall JXM has the power and performance Farmall owners have come to expect, but in a very cost-effective package,” he said.
“It’s suited to all types of farming businesses, whether it be as the hard-working utility tractor in a bigger operation, or the go-to machine in a smaller farm business.
“We think it will also prove popular with local councils looking for a smaller tractor to add to their fleet that’s up to carrying out multiple tasks with maximum efficiency and a minimum of fuss.”
We think there will be a lot of interest in this tractor, with its heavy-duty, compact frame, durable components and plenty of power

Mr McCarthy said the 4WD tractors are powered by turbocharged Tier 3 FPT engines with a wide choice of transmissions available.
Also featured is a robust rear 3-point hitch capable of lifting up to 2500 kilograms.
Mr McCarthy said while the JXM had a comprehensive instrument panel and an ergonomic operator’s environment it stood apart from the C, U and JX models because it offered value and productivity benefits across broad applications, but with a more basic operator interface.
“The Farmall B provides these same value and productivity advantages, however the JXM extends these benefits up to 67kw.”
Mr McCarthy said the JXM would be officially launched at Commonwealth Bank AgQuip next week, with orders able to be placed immediately for delivery in 2019.
“We think there will be a lot of interest in this tractor, with its heavy-duty, compact frame, durable components and plenty of power,” he said.
“It’s great to operate and you know it will get the job done, first time, every time.
“Visitors to AgQuip will be among the first in Australia to see this new addition to the Farmall family in the local market, and we’re keen to show just what it can do.”
