The Australian Livestock and Property Agents Association National and NSW Young Auctioneers Competition has become a highlight of the show.
In a normal year, the crowds overflow from the amphitheatre as country and city folk try to grab a glimpse of some of the best up-and-coming stars of the rural agents industry.
But this year isn't normal, as COVID-19 continues to throw up hurdles to jump.
Nonetheless, the ALPA Young Auctioneers Competitions, and the Royal Show, will go on.

The NSW and National competitions have developed a strong basis for promoting and recognising the best up-and-coming industry leaders.
Many of the past winners have gone on to positions of great responsibility in companies across the country.
Others have used the competition as a stepping stone, and no doubt a confidence booster, to set up their own stock and station agencies.
ALPA chief executive Peter Baldwin said it will be a blockbuster competition with a phenomenal 16 National finalists.
"Last year we didn't run a National competition due to COVID-19, so this year we have both the 2019 and 2020 state winners and runner-ups competing for the 2021 Prosser Cup," he said.
Apart from the prestigious Prosser Cup, National finalists will also be vying for prizes such as an auctioneer's gavel and a Tenterfield Saddler leather item.
The national final will be judged by Peter Daniel, GDL Dalby; Jarrod Bennetts, Everitt Seeley and Bennetts, Koo Wee Rup, and Gerard Unthank, Brian Unthank Rural, Albury.
The line-up of 10 NSW agents for the NSW competition will battle it out for the John Weekes Memorial Trophy, and a host of other prizes.
The difficult task of judging the winner of this final has been taken up by Roger Fuller, Roger Fuller Pty Ltd, Singleton; Dan O'Brien, RH Blake and Company, Wagga Wagga, and Innes Fahey, Ray Donovan Stock and Station Agent, South Grafton.
Keeping up with the what, when and where
