With at least one buyer thinking the sale was at $70-$80 up on yesterdays sale at Cooma, Greg Anderson, MD and JJ Anderson, Crookwell considered the sale an outstanding success with many lines of well bred weaners on offer.
Angus bloodlines dominated the sale with few Herefords and European breeds on offer.
"It was a very solid market throughout," Mr Anderson said.
"It didn't drop off during the offering of females.
"Overall, it was an excellent line of quality weaners with good weight coming out of a great season."
Weaners steers ranged from $1940 to $1200 while weaner heifers sold from $1760 to $950.
Grown heifers sold from $2375 to $1560 while cows sold from $2320 to $1860 and cows with calves ranged from $3400 to $1700.
Sales of weaner steers included 15 Bongongo-blood Angus, eight to nine months and weighing 240kg sold for $1590 on account BS and MJ Bourne, Jugiong: Sutherland and Evans, Crookwell sold 23 Angus, nine to ten months and weighing 383kg for $1940 and CJ and TR Willis, Rosslyn received $1920 for their pen of 16 Milwillah-blood Angus seven to eight months and weighing 361kg.
Sales of heifer weaners included 15 Rennylea/Hansworth-blood Angus weighing 337kg sold by Roy and David Reeves, Bia-Grab Pastoral Co, Grabben Gullen for $1760.
They were the Best Presented Pen of Heifers.
Other heifer sales included 30 Angus, seven to eight months weighing 237kg sold on account P Star and P McLaren, Pejar for $1535 and 14 Karoo-blood Angus, seven to eight months and weighing 325kg sold on account S Clowes, Crookwell for $1650.
Matt and Sharon Gregory, Tharwa sold 17 Hazeldean blood Angus cows with calves and rejoined for $3000: while Cherry Grove, Yass with the Best Presented Pen of Cows received $3380 for their offering of four Angus with calves and PTIC.

Commission buyers were very strong competing with retsockers from Bungendore, Cootamundra, Bathurts, Young and local districts.
The sale was conducted by Elders, Nutrien, Delta Agribusiness, Jim Hindmarsh & Co, Agstock Pty, Holman Tolmie Pty Ltd, MD and JJ Anderson, Michael Hall Livestock and Property and Duncombe and Co.
