The Wodonga store sale saw another large yarding on Thursday, with 2559 head of good quality cattle on offer.
The sale featured large lines of cattle, including close to 599 head of mixed sex calves, most seven to eight months, from Fairyknowe Farms, Tallangatta, Victoria.

Cocoran Parker's Justin Keane said steers sold to a similar trend to last month's sale, with most articles weighing 200kg to 300kg selling from $1300 to $1670 and making up to 670 cents a kilogram.
The sale was supported by four to five commission buyers and backed up by restockers from the local region.
There wasn't a large number of cows and calves in the offering but those that were there made up to $3300, paid for seven Hereford cross cows, from C and G Lovick, Mansfield, Vic, weighing 709kg with 355kg calves at foot.
First calvers with calves at foot made up to $3340 for four Angus units from GC Pronk, Dederang, Vic.
Pregnancy-tested-in-calf cows sold well, a line of 19 rising six-year-old Hereford PTIC cows from Mundoora Pastoral, Jerilderie, making $3060. A second pen of 12 weighing 650kg sold for $2600. Both lots went to local Table Top producers.
Heavy steers, weighing 450kg plus, sold from $1870 to $2300 - the top price paid for a pen of 14 Angus cross steers, 15 to 16 months, weighing 514kg, from Lyden Pastoral Co, Mansfield, Vic. They returned 447c/kg.
Most steers 300kg to 450kg sold from $1580 to $2005.
W and J Lucas, Wooragee, Vic, offered a large run of Angus calves, seven to nine months. The top two pens of 23, weighing around 366kg, made $1800, to return 492c/kg.
Jeremy McNamara, Jingellic, sold 53 Angus, 10 to 11 months, 350kg, for $1785, returning 510c/kg. A second pen weighing 308kg made $1655, 537c/kg.
The first run of Fairyknowe black calves weighing 302kg to 232kg sold from $1670 to $1555. The first pen of 27 weighing 302kg sold for $1670, 552c/kg. As did the second pen of 26, 295kg, returning 566c/kg. The pen weighing 232kg sold for $1555 to Graham Barnes, Chiltern, Vic, returning 670c/kg.
PW Day Pty Ltd, Deniliquin offered a large run of Hereford steers. A pen of 20 weighing 340kg sold for $1735, 510c/kg. Another pen of 13 weighing 295kg sold for $1550, 525c/kg.
Most unjoined heifers weighing 350kg plus sold from $1600 to $1955 - the top price paid for PW Day Pty Ltd rising two-year-old Hereford heifers weighing 509kg.
Most heifers weighing 200kg to 350kg sold from $1170 to $1645, paid for 15 Santa Cross heifers from PW Day Pty Ltd, weighing 316kg, to return 521c/kg.
The Fairyknowne black heifers, weighing 299kg to 224kg, sold from $1380 to $1595. The top price was for 36 weighing 299kg, returning 533c/kg. The lightest pen, 18 at 224kg, returned 616c/kg.
The sale was conducted by Wodonga based agents and Albury based agencies BUR, Schubert Boers, Corcoran Parker and Peter Ruaro Livestock.
